Munir Mohamedi was one of the heroes in the Saudi King’s Cup semi-final Monday. The brilliant saves of the Moroccan goalkeeper were decisive and contributed to the qualification of Al Wehda for the final at the expense of the great favorites Al Nassr of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Munir stood out with his quick reflexes and impressive saves, preventing the worst to his teammates at the beginning of the game and allowing them to maintain the advantage they had gained by the French Beauguel in the 23rd minute.
Fayçal Fajr and co. also had luck, as evidenced by Cristiano’s shot that was deflected off the crossbar in the 82nd minute. Not to mention the impressive performance of every player considering that they had played with ten players since the 53rd minute following the sending off of Abdullah Al Hafith.
In the King’s cup final, the teammates of Munir El Kajoui will face Al Hilal who qualified on behalf of Al Ittihad in the other semi-final.
